The Medical Service Clinic, by the nature of the activity it carries out, processes in good faith and in accordance with the legal provisions personal data of actual or potential patients, their legal representatives, contractual representatives or guardians, in the framework of its operations for the provision of medical services, as well as of its employees or candidates in recruitment processes.
Clinica Medical Service always takes technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data entrusted to it, which it will manage securely and only for the specified purposes.

Purposes of processing personal data
Clinica Medical Service collects and processes personal data for the following purposes:
- Delivery of medical services requested: scheduling of services, sending reminders and other details of scheduling, conclusion of the contract, for the purposes of preventive medicine, establishing medical diagnoses, administering medical care or treatment for the data subject or managing health services acting in the interest of the data subject; issuing the results of clinical investigations or specialist consultations or other medical documents and certificates, registration of patients, administrative management associated with the performance of services. The provision of personal data is necessary for the Medical Service Clinic to be able to manage patients' requests regarding the provision of medical services. Refusal to provide such data may make it impossible to organise and provide the requested medical services.
- Data reporting to CAS, DSP, SIUI or Ministry of Health, tax authorities.
- For the purposes of financial management, carrying out fiscal, banking and payment operations.
- For establishment, exercise or defence of a right in court, including pre-litigation.

The information you provide through the site allows us to continually customize and improve the way you interact with Clinica Medical Service.
Categories of personal data
Clinica Medical Service collects personal data directly from the data subject or from the data subject's relatives or legal representatives:
- With identification function (such as: first name first name, address, gender, date of birth, nationality, city, other elements of the ID document, online identifiers).
- Special data (such as: National ID number, health card number, health status data, biometric data, racial origin, religious beliefs, if applicable). Personal health data are protected according to the rules laid down by law in the field of patients' rights, and the processing of such data is allowed under the condition of professional secrecy.
- Financial and banking data (such as: account number, first and last name of the holder of the bank account or bank card (it can be someone other than you, if someone else has paid a bill on your behalf and for you); validity of the bank card).
- Other personal data (such as: occupation, job, type of insurance, name of insurer).
- Date of contact (such as: mailing address, telephone number, e-mail).
- Information on the location, image and audio-video recordings of physical personse (video recordings captured by surveillance cameras installed at the premises, audio recordings of telephone calls in the call centre).
- Data relating to the profiling of site users according to the Cookie Policy, which can be accessed at here (age, gender, IP, traffic data, geo-location data, device used, operating system, keywords searched by the user according to his interests).
- Opinions (may include personal data of a special nature) that you transmit to us directly or that you post publicly about Clinica Medical Service on social media or through other means of public communication.
Should the Medical Service Clinic decide to process personal data for other purposes as well, in particular under Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation No 679/2016, i.e. based on the consent of the data subject, the Medical Service Clinic will send a separate information notice to allow you to freely give your express consent.
Legal basis of the processing
Data processing for the above purposes is based on:
- To conclude and/or execute a contract for healthcare services or to take steps at your request prior to the conclusion of a contract.
- Fulfillment of the legal obligations incumbent on the Medical Service Clinic by law.
- Legitimate interest of Clinica Medical Service, in compliance with Article 5 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation No 679/2016.
- Protecting your or another individual's vital interests.
- Your consent for marketing/advertising activities and other processing for which consent is required by law. To the extent that you have given your consent to a particular processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the processing carried out up to the time of withdrawal. Duration of retention of personal data
The duration of storage of personal data is limited to what is necessary for processing purposes and until archiving deadlines expire. Clinica Medical Service will delete personal data at the time you request, except for data whose provision and processing is carried out as a result of Clinica Medical Service's legitimate interest or is required by a legal provision, which data will be deleted within the period prescribed by law for this purpose. If the retention of personal data is necessary for purposes specified by law, Clinica Medical Service will continue to retain the data for the required period.
Automated profiling processes and automated decisions
The Medical Service Clinic does not use personal data to automatically evaluate aspects of the personality of data subjects. Clinica Medical Service does not use personal data to make automated decisions about you.
Data recipients
Clinica Medical Service may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients: central and local public authorities and institutions, insurers, professionals who collaborate with the Medical Service Clinic while respecting professional secrecy, other healthcare providers (hospitals or specialist outpatient clinics, paraclinical services or medical imaging, etc.) involved in the provision of medical services. Clinica Medical Service may disclose to third parties data strictly necessary for the management of administrative activities supporting the medical activity or to other medical legal entities.
Clinica Medical Service may disclose your data to authorised persons who process personal data on behalf of Clinica Medical Service (for example: archiving companies, debt collection entities, direct marketing service providers, couriers, etc.).
Clinica Medical Service will disclose your personal data to comply with any legal obligation or by virtue of obligations to a public authority or to protect the rights, property or safety of Clinica Medical Service or its customers.
Data transmitted to Recipients will be adequate, relevant and non-excessive in relation to the purposes for which it was collected and disclosed.
Data transfer abroad

- The right to ask the Medical Service Clinic for access to this data.
- The right to be informed about the personal data that Clinica Medical Service processes, the purpose, the transfer to third parties and the period of storage of such data.
- The right to receive, free of charge, a copy of the personal data being processed. For any additional copies requested, Clinica Medical Service reserves the right to charge a fee.
- The right to ask the Medical Service Clinic to rectify inaccurate/incomplete data concerning you.
- The right to request the Medical Service Clinic to delete personal data concerning you, unless there are legitimate reasons that override your request.
- The right to request the Medical Service Clinic to restrict processing. However, Clinica Medical Service may store and process personal data for reasons of public interest, the fulfilment of a legal obligation or for the defence against a legal claim, the substantiation of a legal claim or to protect the rights of an individual.
- The right to object to the processing of data where the purpose of the processing is direct marketing, including profiling where the measure is related to such direct marketing. Clinica Medical Service will no longer process the data unless there are legitimate grounds or if the purpose of the processing is the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
- The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, if it has a significant impact on the data subject.
- The right to have the personal data provided to Clinica Medical Service in electronic, structured, routinely used, machine-readable form, with the possibility of transferring this data to another controller.
- If you consider that the processing has been carried out in breach of the legislation in force, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, namely the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.
